Year, make and model provided to Terry by phone evening before. Quoted a price i accepted. I went to the William Cannon location first and they said I needed to get my compressor and condenser fixed. after paying $2,500 for the service I had to take my car back to them three other times because the issue hadn’t been resolved. I then submitted a complaint and a Chris Gannon reached out so i can take my car to the Ben White location where I was told by the store associates that the William Cannon location is the worst. They then took another look at my car and said the issue was a whole other part and a was provided a quote of another $2,000. I’m not going to waste a whole other $2,000 when the initial “repair” wasnt the initial problem. I’d seriously like my money back

The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, and worked very effectively to help me with my car needs and help me understand what were the issues.
This was my first visit to Midas, and unfortunately a "bowl" of some type under the vehicle was not tightened securely and I developed an oil leak, which I discovered upon returning home. I took it back to the team at Midas when I could get back there 3 days later and they worked me in, got the problem resolved, and I am happy with the result.

This being my second time there, I think Derrick takes his job seriously and is very knowledgeable. I also thinks he needs a vacation or some time away from the store. It was little things in our conversation I noticed he would forget steps. So I had a Groupon for a wheel alignment. One thing he did was swipe the code for the Groupon. I asked if he needed the code attached and he said so I reopened it and he said “Ahh you already swiped it.” In my head I’m like no you just did. But I just left it alone. He also said I would have to pay $195 to get my traction sensor reset if it didn’t go off manually. So I asked if they HAD to perform this and he basically said yes. There’s no other way to get the sensor off. Which I thought was a bit strange. It didn’t take long to get my car back which I appreciate but the sensor was still on, but after about 5 mins it went away. So I called and asked is the alignment covered over warranty, and he said no cause I have bad parts… But he is aware that he is charging people WAY more than his competitors for the same services. So I’m not sure if I’ll personally be back.

We visited Austin Midas (west Ben white blvd) on Saturday March 16th due to a check engine plus car starting problem, I was told that fuel pump & spark plugs need replacement to which I agreed. Later he called that high pressure fuel pump also need replacement so I visited store. The pricing of parts is exorbitant and it’s 3-4 times the market price excluding labour ..the guy said if I take the car someplace else, I still have to pay for the incomplete repair. I had no choice as I was traveling and car wasn’t driving.

Such friendly service when I called about pricing and booking. Same friendly service when I arrived. Additionally, had lower priced oil change compared to other shops and they even offered to give me a discount for half off (without me asking about discounts). Overall, this location was excellent.

My oil change took less than an hour without an appointment. Rick, the daytime manager, did a good job telling me about my car. Very friendly and likable guy. It was cut and dry about what my car needed, so he didn’t have to go too far into detail. But they got the job done despite some technical problems.

I returned to midas when I saw I had a problem with my coolant because of my confidence in this location. There was a new manager, Rick, and he exceeded my expectations. He was very friendly, took time to answer my questions (I’m not super good with car stuff), and worked with what I could do. For the problems I couldn’t afford to fix today, we made a priority list of what needed to be next so I could save up for them. He explained the price over the phone and that was the price I paid. Everything I needed in this visit and I’m confident to get a good value next time I’m back.

Rick was very nice to me and he helped me receive the online discount for my synthetic oil change. I left the Midas on Guadalupe because they were attempting to charge me $120. After not wanting to give up on Midas since I’ve always come here I called this location and amazingly Rick was able to help.

I was having a hard time getting a problem fixed on my truck and getting my parts put on. With Darius help at the front desk he was able to get my truck squared away and that young man is very patient and helpful so glad I was able to stop by Midas today.
Please don't take you're car to get it fixed here I payed 700 to get my car fixed unfortunately they did not fix my car / I had to take it somewhere else to get it fixed /they have no idea on how to fix a car (5hey don't know what there doing )

They were nice, not sure they really rotated the tires, as my slow leak was still in the same place. Haven't been back much in the last year, because things got really bad there. I asked them to check my fluids & they told me the windshield wiper fluid was low. It was empty & none was added. Its so convenient to work, that I used to have 5 cars serviced there for 3 years, but I don't think I'll be back.
Tyler is fantastic!! I had gotten an AC check done at another shop and he was willing to do the work recommended from the other place without doing their own evaluation. He also worked with me on the cost and was able to save me a pretty good bit of money.
