Don’t lie when they broke your door handle

My air conditioner suddenly stopped working. I was told by another company that I would need to leave my car for 3 days, then take the car back to drive around, then return the car for another day for them to diagnose the problem. They then would be able to give me an estimate and schedule the service. I walked into Midas with no appointment. Clay said they would start to check it out that day, called later to give me an update on where they were in the process and what the cost was so far, called at the end of the day for us to approve another hour of diagnoses the next day, then called the next morning with the problem, the solution, the options for repair and the cost of each. He was able to have the work completed and my car returned by the end of that day. I know it was not an easy job but he just got it done. I really appreciated that.

Have the tire in stock. I called a week ahead of time to have this done. The tire arrived the day after my appointment causing me to delay things I needed my car for. Unacceptable.

I had a battery that was leaking acid and swollen, and I obviously needed a new battery ASAP. Toni pointed out that the battery was under warranty from another service provider. Tony saved me about $300, but more importantly, he and Clay earned my trust and respect for not trying to unnecessarily upsell me.
