Prices quoted on the phone are for 5 quarts of oil. You actually know what cars use 6, 7, or 7-1/2 quarts of oil and should quote a more accurate price when you find out the car the service is being done to. I got a quote on a synthetic blend oil change for 29.95. I knew I would be paying extra for 2-1/2 quarts of oil so I’m expecting maybe 60.00 total. When I get there they refuse to use synthetic blend and I pay 110.00. You should just try to be a little more professional, honest and upfront with your pricing at the first contact on the phone. This has happened before to myself and friends I’ve talked to. It just makes Midas look a little deceptive. I hope you understand that when someone asks for a price quote on an oil change that uses 7-1/2 quarts of oil you should quote on that information. You shouldn’t quote customers on a 5 quart oil change, say extra oil is additional and then wait until the customer comes in to tell them we quoted you on synthetic blend oil but your car should use full synthetic oil at 3 times the price and that is the only oil we will use. It’s not professional and, again, it makes you look deceptive.

Give me an option as to which oil change I would like. I was automatically sold the most expensive one. Also, I made an appointment. Part of the reason that the service took so long was because the filter wasn’t in stock. You knew my make model in year, so have that stuff ready in advance. Also, I brought in a coupon and it was not valid because I needed 6 quarts and the coupon is only for five. So it cost an extra hundred dollars.
They explained everything to me step by step what was going one with my car. They offered me great service and took care of me in a great mannerly time for me to just get my car towed there unannounced.

Everyone at this location helped me with my service and made it easy for me even though we did not go with them to do the service. The only reason being is there was a recall on the car. The rep I talked to (Michael) was very thorough and amiable. When I brought my car in, they looked at in and showed me what the issues were and gave me some options. Mike put it like “we write the prescription, and you can decide to fill it or not”. They were able to get me a clear coat overview and fix my car in a 24hr turnaround, which was great. Only issue I ran into was that they said the car would be done around 3. I called at 3:30 and got an automated machine that the shop was closed so I got pretty annoyed thinking I’d have to wait another day. Luckily Mike called me back and let me know the car was ready that day. He apologized about the mixup and said unfortunately the system works that way outside of normal hours.

Got scammed by those guys,I came in with a bad alternator which was checked by dealer and anther mechanic,they asked to come in for a courtesy check and take care of the problem,waited an hour and they came out to tell me,you have a bad alternator,and you owe 76.00 for computer diagnostic on the car,I asked the tech for a diagnostic report,he said it's all in his head,no report, got charged and left the shop same way I came in.I was offered an alternator for 760.00 plus tax and labor, and they will waive the courtesy charge . The part was %300 more the the dealer cost. I was looking at a grand total of 1200.00 to change an alternator. Take that or pay for the courtesy check and leave

Their computer system went down and it prolonged the session of an oil change and tire rotation. Overall it wasn't a big deal things like that happen and they managed to get the job done.
Michael Torres took very good care of me, and my experience was outstanding. I had quite a few repairs that needed to be done and he kept me in the loop every step of the way, and made sure to get my car back to me before my rental expired. He even drove my car to enterprise so I wouldn’t be inconvenienced with switching out my toddler’s car seat. Overall, was very pleased and will definitely take my car back to this Midas.

I brought my car in for a wheel alignment because it was a Costco program. This was not nearby but I bought my tires at Costco and they recommended the alignment at a partner auto repair business and in this case they recommended Midas. After waiting for an hour and a half in the waiting room, the cashier came out and said they did not have the equipment to do the job. They could only do cars older than 2019, mine is a 2021. Wish they could have told me this when I arrived. No reason for me to wait. My day was killed over this. Not worth the 15% savings. Never going to Midas again.
I scheduled service online to change my tires. When I arrived they told me that they were not available. The tires I wanted were 275 55 19 they were avaliBle on line. The person told me that they had to be ordered but they would take 5 to 7 weeks to. arrive. It seemed like they didn't want to sell me the tires. I went to Discount tires and they ordered the same tire and we install in three days

The quote to replace a broken cruise control lever was $1600, before Costco rebate. Elgin Chrysler did the job in an hour and for $200. There is clearly something you all need to address here.

The staff is very accommodating and friendly. Everything was gone over to make sure the car was in worded. They even took it for a test drive.

Price was very high, higher than quote dealer cost for OEM products, needed to do them so I agreed but didn’t feel that prices were competitive.However mechanic explained very well and that is what kept me from going elsewhere.The challenge is that price is just too much.
Honesty I brought my car in for oil change and was informed I needed a new oil pan because threads were stripped. My last oil changes were done at this facility so who stripped the threads? After being told ended up being there 8 hours, waiting for the part to be delivered and installed. Yes they reduced my cost and were understadding but I feel it should not have taken 5 hours for the part to arrive. It was not the employees at the facilities fault, but the delivery,however I had to keep insisting they call and find out why it was taking so long. The work was good but it took far too long. They did offer to Uber me home, but I was afraid it would not be done and I had to have a car. I stayed to make sure it was done, I had no trust at that point. A simple oil change turned into an expensive nightmare through no fault of my own.
The technician showed me the problem and explained everything clearly. Although this is my first time to this Midas location, I have a feeling they are trustworthy. The manager is good at communicating. Although the quote I got from other place is lower, I felt these people are knowledgeable. I'd rather spend a little bit more to get my service done here.

Your ad for a discount regarding synthetic oil changes should be more specific. Example one coupon was listed for $39.99 or $89.99. The ad doesn't specify the difference between a synthetic blend and the other oil change at $89.99 Synthetic Oil Change All. All I wanted was a simple Synthetic Oil Change and Filter. I was charged the higher of the two at $89.99. I wasn't satisfied with the explanation of the difference between the two. The counter service representative needs to know the difference between the two to thoroughly explain the difference to the end user the customer. Must have been a new employee at the counter. I have been driving for over fifty years. I get the gas and oil prices are higher. The cost of $89.99 was the "most" monies I have ever paid for an oil change in fifty years.
1) I think reminders or a confirmation of an appointment necessary2) I was disappointed that I had to call twice within 4 hours to get any information about my car when I did have an appointment.3) I feel that a mechanic should have been talking to me with information about my car not the front desk as it didn't seem like the could answer all my questions.4) I had asked for an uber around 4:45pm and no one showed up, so i called again at 5pm to find out an uber had not been called and I waited until about 5:30 to get picked up and was not to the shop until about 5:45pm, which I had explicitly mentioned i needed to be picked up by 5. I really screwed up the rest of my evening and child care.
Cheaper to go into dealership for services. $89 for synthetic with contradicting information on if this includes tire rotation. After being told it was included was then told it would be $24.99 after was told by technician it was already done - was it? I have no idea. Then told it was a previous promotion but they would still honor. 2nd time I've experienced issue at location, last time, mileage was never reset on other car. Not very trustworthy
The issue being worked on was my 2016 Nissan Rogue A/C.When it was thought that the problem was solved, it wasn't.I used my phone to research the secondary issue and showed an article to Jesus, the lead technician who, to his credit, read it.In the meantime I was told that they now needed at least another two hours or so would be needed to determine and fix the problem.I was about to call a cab when Jesus came back and said the A/C problem was now fixed!It turned out that the article I found had the key to solving the problem!If I hadn't done my research who knows how long it would have taken or how much it would have ended up costing me to try other "solutions".
Service was excellent. I am extremely happy with the service and everyone that helped me. I will be back and I will recommend my friends, associates to used this location. Mike supplied excellent customer service including Max and Kat.

The charged $756.15 for the routine service that the Mercedes-Benz dealer shop charges $252.29. I am disputing the charge and requesting a refund. So far I have not heard from the shop.

A couple of things on estimate were not needed and done elsewhere a few months ago. Estimate was over $2000. Got it done for $350 including an oil change.

They would tell me twenty minutes for them to call me back with a quote... an hour later I’m calling them. He doesn’t have it, tomorrow they’ll give me a quote. This is after I was told I was first in line that day because they “like me and I’m family.” The next day, He puts on my hold for twenty minutes. I call back. He calls me back and starts going over the issues. He gets a call and puts me on hold for eight minutes at which time, I hung up.... He gives me a quote and includes 6 hours of labor to change a thermostat. I’m not a mechanic, but I’m familiar with mechanical work and it does not take 6 hours to change a thermostat, so I already feel ripped off. The start quote is 2,300, when I say it’s excessive for the labor, he says, I’ll do you a favor, I’ll lower it to 1600 as A Mother’s Day discount... In my perspective, that’s not a favor, but closer to tan honest estimate. I tell him it’s too much and he says, “Let me sharpen my pencil. We don’t want to lose you as a customer, we like you. I’ll call you tomorrow, we’ll see what we can do....” all the sweet talk to connive me.... it’s challenging not to think because I’m a woman, that I was given an I honest estimate.
Michael, the manager, Jose and Jesus are very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. My old truck needed a lot of care, and Michael explained everything thoroughly, along with both Jesus and Jose. They understood my concerns and made me comfortable with what needed to be done to keep my truck running safely. I'm glad I found them, and plan on going back in the future for their excellent service.

I was on a road trip from Columbus Ohio to Milwaukee Wisconsin when my tire pressure light came on. I stopped and added some air but within 30 minutes it was low again. I called midas from the road and explained my situation to Michael. He said he'd take care of me and to come on over. He quickly assessed the situation and let know that one of my tires was unfixable and the rest of my tires were bald. I'd been putting off getting new ones for too long and now was in a pinch. Michael was able to get me back on the road quickly even though the shop was super busy. He took great care of me and got me back on the road.
Amazing customer service as usual. They went as far as staying open a bit later to allow me to pick my car up after one of my other cars got into an accident. Love this Midas and the workers there. They’re amazing all around!
I stopped by to make an appointmnet for Saturdasym but they told me they could take me right away if I would do it now (Friday afternoon). Service took 2.5 hours; they didn't begin the work for 50 minutes, said they were checking the supply room for the flex tube (which they had)......

This is not a paid for review. No emotions just facts. Had them re-install OEM mufflers on 2017 Mustang GT. Wanted to charge me 3-1/2 hours to do the job. Paid $277 for an hour job I should have argued more. Would not recommend this place
