This isn't regarding the actual service at the Midas location. This is regarding the company that gave false info regarding their promotion. I was given a voucher for money back from Midas cause of the services we received but when we tried to claim it and filled out the forms, we were told online and also over the phone that we weren't eligible for the promotion which is incorrect. I am actually in the middle of still dealing with this after I talked to a supervisor today from the phone nbr I was given by email.

I wasn’t satisfied with the fact that I scheduled the appointment for breaks and rotors and arrived at 10am and was not able to retrieve my vehicle until after 5 pm. The parts had to be brought in from other locations around town and then I was told that I might not be able to have the service done that day due to the part possibly coming in later and interfering with the technicians schedule. Thankfully the technician stayed over to get me safely back on the road.
Bryan and Nick are awesome! I think taking over the duties that Steve did it was very challenging for them but they proved they could do it!

I was a women and in many places I am treated like I don't know anything. Here I was given so much time and explained everything. The guys really cared about me and how I felt about the service. I felt like they were friends.
It took 2 and a half hours for an oil change, and the employees repeatedly gave me incorrect time frames for when my vehicle would be done. I ended up being very late for an important appointment that I had. After about an hour I started asking when my vehicle would be done, and I was told 5-10 minutes more than once over an hour.

I manage my companies fleet and brought in one of the service trucks that was "acting up" the staff there at the White Ln. Midas here in Bakersfield, CA got to work on it right away and had a full & fairly priced quote to me within a business day (they did try to call me on Saturday but we were closed) and completed the work in a timely manner. AND, they beat out our normal tire shop on the tire prices.
I requested and it was repeated back to me that wanted an oil change and tire rotation. I had a scheduled appointment at 10:00am. When I arrived the bays only had two vehicles. I didn’t get my car back until 2:00 pm, partially because I had to remind them of my tire rotation. I picked up the car and drove off later my low tire pressure indicator came on because they didn’t recalibrate my tires.
Price friendly service time informative attentive
We got our brakes replaced a year ago and have driven approximately 10,000 miles since then. We took our car in to get the rotors replaced during this visit, and they said we needed new brakes again. Mind you, our first set of brakes lasted us approximately 50,000 miles before replacing them last year. The paperwork we had from the replacement last year said they were under warranty, so we assumed they would be free. Not true. Apparently the person who sold the brakes to us last year lied and the brakes were not, in fact, under warranty since we hadn't gotten the rotors done at that point as well. Fast forward to this trip, and while Midas did give us a discount on the brakes, we were told they'd be free since the warranty paperwork stated they would be. We were charged for two brakes instead of four. There is just a lot of conflicting information here, and it's quite frustrating feeling like we've been taken for $1,200 when we shouldn't have needed new brakes in the first place.
1. Not charge to inspect the vehicle for possible work (in both motor and brakes).2. Not start or do or say you do work without authorization. (I was told an oil change was done without my permission.)3. I was charged for the oil change, BUT, the oil change was NEVER performed.4. Do NOT charge for things that are NOT done.

Attendant said to drop off car to check brakes by 3:30 so it can be completed before 5:30.Arrived at 3:15. Waited for a long time only to be told that they can't fix car before 5:30.She said that all brakes and rotars needed to be replaced. I asked if the 39.99 would be applied to the $1,200 job the next morning, she said no because I was taking the car. I needed to get home. I said I would bring it as soon as they opened.She said that she was not going to apply the brake check fee. I explained that I've been a customer since 2005 with 4 vehicles that come in for multiple services(brakes,oil,transmission, replaced A/C, etc...) She said I was being petty about the 39.99.I was not asking for any discount. Just apply the fee to the job.Not only did you guys lose a $1,200 for 39.99 and a stubborn careless attendant, you lost a loyal customer with numerous vehicles for the past 17 years.

Brakes were put on my daughters vehicle. When she drove it home I noticed the brakes were still squeaking. I called Steve and brought the vehicle back to Midas. Steve and Laren had their people on it immediately and they stayed past closing to fix the issue. I've brought all my vehicles to this location (White Lane Bakersfield CA) and will continue to do so. They work with me and are personable, knowledgeable and caring.
