Wasn’t very knowledgeable and I spent almost $4000 on a job that I had to get another mechanic to correctly fix…the other mechanic told me the problem then I brought it back to Midas and they tried to tell me it was something else and I need to spend another $2000. I went ahead and took it back to the other mechanic and was probably the best decision I’ve made, haven’t been to Midas since not even for an oil change. I don’t like spending all that money and coming for years to get a crappy job done to my car and they really have no accountability of making it right so I had to just cut my loses and move on. I will not ever recommend coming to them again

$30 to plug a tire and took almost 30 minutes to do it!
In addition to an oil change I specifically asked for a tire rotation, which they failed to perform. I did not realize this until my husband checked the tires at home. I had to return the next day to have them do it. The man taking in customers did not question what happened or apologize. But they did take my car back immediately to do the rotation. Afterward, no apology or explanation from the front desk attendant, but the mechanic apologized when I went to my car afterward. He said he missed the rotation on my ticket. This has happened previously at this location with my husband's car. It should not be up to me to make sure the work was completed properly, and being that I was inconvenienced and had to bring the car back I at least expected an apology from the front desk service person. More attention to details and accountability ar needed.
I think when an AC system is being checked the attendant should come to tell you that you need Freon. I was aware of the cost , additional $100., but when they were finished nothing was said. Just “ you owe $220 “ They were so friendly when I scheduled, but after the service, there was no conversation. I had to ask if the car needed Freon. There was a total disconnect at that point, as if I didn’t exist. The paperwork doesn’t tell you how much Freon was used. My car is 10 yo and I said when I took it in that it wasn’t blowing hot. After I was basically ignored, it began to feel like maybe I was charged for something that really hadn’t occurred. I have no way to know, but something was not right. It was the manager that I dealt with. They were not busy and so it wasn’t because they were swamped. I probably will not go back.

Cost was too high for a 15minute inspection.
I requested for an oil change and to check why the engine light was on. Not only did neither one get fixed or addressed, but they rolled down the drivers side window (which is broken), and did not get it up all the way and returned it to me without telling me. I had to take it to a glass shop after to get it fixed. I watched them the entire time. They took there time with my brakes and I spent 3 1/2 hours there watching all of them take their time and make sure other customers came and went while I sat there. This was the absolute worst experience I have ever had. I will not be returning and will make sure that everyone I know will go elsewhere.
