Midas in Huntsville, Alabama is a one-stop shop for brakes, oil changes, tires and auto repair near you.

It was easy to make an appointment for the oil change using the website. Kenny Graham checked me in and gave me an estimate of the service time. It took just under the estimated time for Kenny to tell me my car was ready. The checkout was efficient and Kenny gave me his card and told me to call if I had any questions. I will bring my vehicles to this location in the future because of the excellent customer service.

The waterpump installation and thermostat went fine. There was an error code showing after installation low pressure turbo boost. They did not have the tool for finding turbo leak. They took Lincoln Navigator to local Lincoln Dealer and had it fixed and paid for that and retuned back to Midas for me to pick up. This is what i call great Customer SERVICE. I have never had a company take such good care of my vehicles. I will be using MIDAS on Winchester Road for all my services from now on.

Outstanding service

Fair price, fast service, and got my car in quick.

Justin communicated through the entire process. We thought we needed new break pads and found we needed new tires (which he took time to explain the gage on when to get new ones), and rotors. He called with several option, and the benefits of each. His customers service was top notch.

I brought a 2004 Ford Ranger in with muffler/tailpipe problems. After checking I was told the parts could be here by Wednesday, Dec.6 and could then be installed. Because of our previous muffler work several years ago, Midas will need to rebuild our system. I’m very pleased with the efforts of Justin Davis and look forward to having him complete his work.

Service was more costly than anticipated

I'm satisfied with the friendliness of the staff and the job they performed, but I do feel that the $107 I paid for diagnosis plus the $167 to install the sensor was quite excessive. I was told the labor would cost "1.1 hours", which "conveniently" gets rounded-up to two hours of labor charge. Seems like this could've been rounded down a "mere tenth" to save me some of the exorbitant cost, but perhaps that was wishful thinking. I'd still likely visit this shop again, as I'm sure the charging practices are beyond the local management's control (i.e. corporate policy is to blame), but I do feel like the value I got for the total price I paid leaves something to be desired.

The technician jumped on my needed work. The managers were extremely attentive.

Price for a reman part was 2 1/2 times price of new part. And was told they could fix it same day over the phone and then when I went back to shop 10 mins after I hung up they couldn’t do it. Even worse couldn’t do it next day either. Absolutely no one else in the shop all the bays except one was empty. The one that had a vehicle in it was an employee’s vehicle. Good help doesnt exist anymore I guess neither do good businesses or customer service.

My car overheated on my way home from work. The gentleman running the shop was extremely kind and explained everything gave me an accurate quote. My car was ready the next morning!

I have had a tune-up, new tires, brake job multiple oil changes at this location. It is my company car which is under a fleet contract. Its the same fleet company I have used here for years. Save the information in your system so I do not have to wait 45 minutes while your associate tries to figure out the system.

From the drop off to the quote of what needed to be done was easy. The repairs were very quick considering it was a holiday weekend and they even got the vehicle back to me one day ahead of expected. Overall it was a fantastic experience even if it did cost me $3600 lol

The price for the oil change was very competitive with other businesses. In fact, it was by far the best price and I was able to get work done immediately.

My Honda recommended full synthetic while I had been using a blend. But staff explained they must use the recommended oil but went out of their way to double check just in case. The guy who changed my oil was extremely knowledgeable and also found a screw in my tire that I was able to get fixed as well - avoiding a future problem. I thought very highly of the staff.I will say the big change in coupon price from blend to full synthetic seems excessive. I think Midas knows most newer cars recommend full. Hmmm.....

FRIENDLY, EXPERT SERVICE.

I only waited 10 minutes before someone came to test my battery/alternator. Diagonosed quickly that the alternator was going bad. I was quoted a price, left the vehicle and was called that evening to be given a time that vehicle would be ready the next day. Both the front desk and the mechanic were friendly, willing to discuss the problem and most importanly listen. Great job!! I will be back with all four of my vehicles.

Leslie and staff treated us very well and after our bad experience at meridianville location it was refreshing. She treated us like we were important and like she’d known us for awhile.

I did not receive a window sticker indicating when I received the oil change/when the next oil change is due. I will have to make a special trip to get that done.
