I went in for an oil change (regular scheduled) but also because my check engine light had come on. I was greeted and promptly misidentified as was my vehicle. Then, without looking at the vehicle (still misidentified) I was quoted the price of the oil change and the $150 charge to read the error code(s) which I understood and accepted— but then he quoted an additional charge of $225 to address the codes with no explanation or justification for the charge. I still accepted because I need to have everything functioning.A few minutes later he asked me to come back up to his podium “with an open mind” (a phrase that he repeated several more times in this conversation) and quoted me $2,669 worth of “factory spec” repairs/maintenance work that he insisted I needed to have completed immediately.I feel that I was ambushed by a sales gorilla. My vehicle may very well need a $2700 tune up but the strong-arm tactic and attitude is not appreciated.

I live on Bainbridge Island, WA, and had never gone to Midas. I have a BMW, and have always had it serviced at the BMW dealership, in Seattle, WA. (And all that implies.) When my car was making a rattling sound, when I first started it, I feared the worst. I looked up online, as to what it could be, and the information gathered, was that it could either be a relatively "quick fix," or something exceedingly expensive. I braced myself for the latter. I called the Silverdale, WA, Midas. The man who answered was extremely helpful, and I was able to get in, within 24 hours, for them to look at it! When I brought it in the next morning, first thing, the customer service was stellar. He explained approximately how long it would take to look at it (within an hour), which they did. And then the phone call came, and my husband answered. Surprisingly, they said that it was a matter of fixing something relatively minor, and all told, it ended up being only around $100! (I could provide more details, but I didn't talk to them, directly.) The car was fixed in short order, and we were on our way back to Bainbridge, in no time at all, with a perfectly fine-running BMW! Thank you, Midas!

I watched the repair tech perform the oil change thru the waiting room window - he was extremely thorough and made sure he cleaned up all oil that may have spilled (engine area). I watched him check all fluid levels, refilled the washer fluid, check tires and inflated them to proper specs. Although not customary, I was persistent for him to accept a tip for doing a great job - he was reluctant to accept but I made sure he would not decline - he appeared surprised, and initially thought I was going to complain but humbly accepted my verbal compliment and tip.
I have gone to this Midas for over 10 years. Steve is amazing and very informative. I feel that he has always been honest and helps me come up with a "plan of care" for my cars. As a nurse, I appreciate that.
Easy fast and not as expensive as the dealership
99% of everything was great. The way the employees communicated everything was simple, informative, and helpful. The ease of dropping off my vehicle to have it worked on the next morning was beyond helpful. The only complaint is that when the repair was done some of the bolts were missing from some of the locations. They aren’t important as to the drivability, and aren’t expensive, but having to replace them is a pain.
I felt the Midas people were very well qualified and happy to be of service.

Being able to schedule my appointment online was incredibly convenient. The associates and mechanics were very communicative and honest about my options and the prices of everything. When I checked out the woman at the counter gave me a coupon deal that saved me some money which was above and beyond.
Front desk clerk was friendly, professional and very informative. Service was quick and efficient. Wish the battery was cheaper- realize that’s a parts problem not yours! Y’all were great!

We were on a road trip last year and needed 2 tires.....this year we did it again 2 states from home and we were able to pop right back in and get another pair.

The only thing that I was concerned with is that I was told I had an oil leak but I didn’t before I showed up. On the way home my coolant hit High, WARNING lights one the dash went off ON THE FREEWAY but 5 seconds later all light went normal. This FREAKED ME OUT! Nothing was going wrong until I left the shop. Since things are seemingly normal now, I did not call the location about it.
Was explained what the problem could be and offered a satisfied solution. Midas has earned my trust and would recommend Midas to everyone. The staff and mechanics are knowledgeable and a sincere thanks to Steve.

My part was delivered first but wrong part. Got the correct part and want back and it was immediately fixed in shot amount of time. Appreciated the manager and other personnel. They were very professional and stayed on top of locating the correct part same day.
Car did not leak oil on my concrete pad prior to having serviced, now I have a big puddle on my pad. Obviously they did tighten the filter or plug tight enough.

Due to a delay on Product, Receiving the wrong Oil Filter from there supplier the first time, had to wait for the next delivery to get the correct Oil Filter,
it was easy to make the appointment, they were on time with the schedule and i didn't have to wait very long for them to finish.
I looked online and found tires for 67.99, three different options actually. Upon checking out it was $700 and change. I questioned it and he immediately removed an optional charge, which quite frankly should be optional, like "do you want this"? Not its on there until you notice it. Shady. Then he gave me a $100 discount so he got the price down to $500 and change. Which was nice but come on, seemed shady. Plus I looked this morning and the $67.99 tires are still on the website. The guy told me I would never find tires that cheap anywhere. Well... I have a picture of the website if you want. But I went in expecting to pay $271.96 and paid over $500 after being quoted over $700.
I have just purchased a 2018 car which is new to me. I was getting conflicting info from the car regarding whether it needed to have a full 30K mile check. Someone backed into my TRD exhaust breaking them off leaving the muffler. Midas removed, grinded, fabricated new pieces (just to join the muffler to the pipes), and then welded the pieces back together. They even informed me that the original installer had it slightly crooked and they fixed that as well so it is symmetrical. All for about $150 instead of having me replace my complete exhaust.
