Brought in my tire for a tire patch… They stated that the tire was not patchable so I told them no problem put a new tire on replacing two rear tires just so they could match my tires. While changing my Tires, they broke one of my TMS sensors. So I had to replace the Valve stem, cap And TPMS sensor for $90. Immediately after leaving, my flat light indicator came on as well as my tea tPMS sensor Came back On. I took the vehicle back the next day for them to fix and the lights were no longer on the dashboard and they stated that it was due to a dead placed tpms Sensor. I drove for about five minutes and the TMS sensor Went off again. I don’t have time to be bringing my car back-and-forth for some thing that’s so easy to change. I am very dissatisfied with my service and will not be returning to any locations or recommending their service to anybody.

Midas representatives are usually upfront on how soon a vehicle can be worked into the schedule and how soon it can or will be done! Also, the price for the work is typically given upon bringing in the vehicle. The representatives also call you ASAP upon completion!!!

Great service and great customer service
I am a business owner that had brought one of our fleet trucks to Midas located in Folsom California for an exhaust leak issue. The store recommended that we replace the 2 catalytic converters which required welding. It was later determined that after 2 warranty visits to the same location and continuation of the exhaust leak that the welding was not performed to that of Midas quality standards and the orientation of the catalytic converters were incorrectly installed which would have failed smog due to the wrong part numbers.After two failed attempts at the first Midas location in Folsom, CA to remediate the issues, the vehicle was taken to another franchise Midas location in Roseville, CA where the issues were resolved without any issues.Overall, I'm unsatisfied with the amount of time the first Midas ship had caused with the faulty installation and the multiple trips to try and remediate the issue. The fact that we had to drive much further to a different Midas location for a resolution is unacceptable.I am very pleased with the Midas Location at Roseville as the manager and front desk clerk understood and resolved our concerns and corrected the warranty issues. The guys here helped me before I even brought my car in. They are friendly, make sense and thus exude honestly. I feel my vehicle is in good hands when I come in. I feel like they will not try to dumb things down or talk over me. They are done when they say they will be and don’t take my car for the day for a simple task. I paid $85 (the minimum) for two small welds on muffler system. "James" was going to research if putting a "2 into 1" pipe to replace forward muffler would work for my car or if I needed to replace the muffler. James was going to call me the next day. James said it would cost about $200 to do that replacement. My problem was a vibration in the muffler itself. My car has two large mufflers aft of this one; the welder said they would work fine to keep noise of car at a nice level (minimum).I never heard from James for a week. I returned to Midas a week later. James didn't remember me or my car. After another explanation, he said it would now cost about $500 to do the same "Y" pipe replacement of the forward muffler. Obviously, I'm not going back there. He was going to mark up the "Y" pipe to $120, charge 1.5 hours of labor (@$170/hr) $255, $25 for welding supplies (gas), (That's $400 by my math but $500 by James' math.

My appointment was at 10 but they didn't have my car ready until almost 3. Also, no inspection was done, nothing was shared with me about my vehicle. I've gone other places where they tell me about the fruids, battery health, filters, etc and that they checked to make sure no notifications were out on my vehicle. I got nothing from Midas but the bill. I used to go here a lot a few years ago but it's certainly not as good as it used to be. I'll be looking for somewhere else to go.

When you replace the pads and rotors on the front they should have at least replaced the pads on the back at the same time. Now I have to make another appointment and spend more money and waste another day. The excuse the representative gave was I wanted to wait since it had a little bit of life left. Didn't sound like it had much time on them and they wasted my time.

Walked out to my truck and looked underneath to help me understand the issues with securing my catalytic converter from theft. Hayden is an experienced mechanic that welded a cage around my catalytic converter and also welded up the repair work on my CC. Very patient and explained what he had in mind as the SME. I let him run with it and it turned out great. Both gentlemen were there to answer questions and provide suggestions.
Everyone was informative, friendly, answered my questions, communicated promptly and price was reasonable.

The staff were extremely helpful. We had our SUV towed in because we thought the catalytic converter had been stolen. The Midas staff put our car on the rack right away and found that the converter was not stolen but the exhaust pipe had been cut during an attempted theft. They were able to weld the pipe back together the next day. They were very knowledgeable and kept us informed throughout the process.

First and foremost, I purchased "NEW" brakes in November 2021.I brought in my vehicle because the brakes were squeaking, and the Folsom Store Manager also heard the squeak. A mechanic took it for a drive , and heard nothing last week on May 5, 2022. It's seemed to be okay without any squeaking until today, this afternoon May 9, 2022. Not sure why, but what can I say. I previously owned a F250 and had "NEW" brakes installed on that vehicle at the same store location at the end of June 2020, and those brakes seemed to have no issues at all. I'm not displeased, I just like my vehicle to perform without having to worry if I'm going to get stuck somewhere, and being a Building Contractor, I am "ALWAYS" busy. Otherwise MIDAS is an awesome place to get service as I have on a few vehicles.
I've been coming here for all my car's needs for several years and while I will miss Jeff and his previous crew, I do enjoy the continued honesty I am also seeing with the new owners, very important as well as the trust I can place that the checkpoints will be done and explained in an an understandable manner and if I have the option of waiting on whatever anissue might be.
