i had a starter problem and was taken care of imeadiatly filled out paperwork and my car was ready the next day they gave me a ride home and ask if we needed a ride back and told them we will have a ride to pck up car took care of all aspects of the situation were no problem cuddles to Joey for his tremendous help in my matter made me feel at ease and with no worries
Generally I come to Midas to get oil changes, but may stop doing so due to price and the amount of time it takes. This most recent visit, it took a full 2 hours for an oil change, which is a bit excessive compared to oil changes I've received at other operators in the past. The price has also gone up significantly from when I first started going to Midas a few years ago.
There won’t be another time. I am currently having the work redone at another shop so my vehicle will be capable of driving. I want my money back.
scheduled appointment for one of our trucks on 08/12/24 at the del Monte location. we usually pay around $250 for oil/filter change service but this time Joey was trying to charge us between 400-500. Joey mentioned someone had underprice our last oil service by mistake which happened months ago. Joey now wanted to charge the amount difference from the last oil service to this new oil service. Joey said he needed to balance numbers out. This is totally unprofessional, unethical. it was their mistake to underprice our last oil change service. We will never take our truck fleet to this location again. Del Monte location has lost our business.

My car was misdiagnosed and I had to pay over $1,000.00 dollars for a repair that I did not need. But, by taking it back to the shop my car was seemingly properly diagnosed and the part was replaced. Mgmt was great in giving me the difference in cost.
It was fine but not over the top exceptional, it was what I expect that’s why I said satisfied. I don’t know how I would have been highly satisfied other than lower prices.
I was told one price on the phone and another when I arrived. The man checking me in was clearly annoyed. I told him I needed a new battery and he kept asking, "so you only want a battery?" He asked that two times. I said yes, I know the battery is bad. Upon picking it up, everything was fine. A week later I open the hood and notice the terminals were corroded and we are having trouble getting the car to start. A friend who is a mechanic told me the terminals should have been replaced. I didn't know that and should have been informed. When I said I wanted the battery replaced, Robert said, "so you only want the battery replaced?" I didn't know other things should have been done. I won't be coming back.

Went to Midas for front brakes and rotors. Midas had an advertised price of 350 forfront brakes and rotors but the shop quoted me almost 900 and said it was a BMW and thats why the super inflated price. After I laughed at them and left I went to O'Reilly Autoparts bought 2 decent rotors and semi-metallic brake pads and sensor for 260 and ittook me about an hour and a half to do the brakes in my driveway. Even if I doubled that price for Midas inflated material costs, 500, where is the extra 350? Come on guys, people are struggling in this economy and you are going to look me straight in the eye and quote me 860 for front brakes and rotors on a 2011 328i...sad.

I work as a concierge at a hotel, and any problems guests have with vehicles, you’re my first recommendation.
As stated, I made appointment and then waited nearly 45 minutes before tech began oil change. I waited 90 minutes for a simple oil change.

Joey called me and said his mechanic found a leak from my cars water pump.Since we were close to the shop, we came on and verified the leak. After just replacing from a different shop, it was still under warranty and replaced on the same day. Thank you you to Joey and his mechanic in spotting this leak.
We took our car in for a steering problem we were told the car was finished and ready to pick up we went in paid and went to the car it didn’t start. We were then told they would fix it at their cost. Well to no avail they couldn’t fix it after arguing with them we came to no conclusions. We just wanted the money that we paid for the car to be refunded and the car towed to our house. We paid almost $1800.00 and they only refunded us back $600.00 . The car was there almost a year. We had to buy another car in the mean time and now have the car we took into Midas that doesn’t run. We are very disappointed and dissatisfied with the process of this whole experience. We spoke with the owner and he just didn’t want to give us all the money back because they fixed the steering problem …how do we know if the car doesn’t run🤔we would like to have the rest of our money returned to us.

The work on my car breaks is less than 6 months old. Rotaries & pads were replaced and that cost me over $800. The breaks are back squeaking and I wanted the warranty to be honored. I have been a customer of this Midas location in Seaside, CA for over two decades and the quality of work & service have substantially dropped. No one calls customers during the day and nobody answers the phone. Had to wait for my wife an hour to pick me up as my car stored inside the garage, while doors were closed. In the morning of the next day, no apologies were expressed, had to wait another 20 min for someone to drive the car out of the garage, and then told to pay an extra $350 to surface the break discs to get rid of the same squeaking for which I brought the car to fix in the first place. Really disappointed!
I dropped off my vehicle and expected to get a ride back to pick it up but the shuttle driver forgot to give me a call when my car was ready. He said it would take 1-2 hours but it took 4 hours but it was ready, they just didn’t call me. I was put on hold for 12 minutes to see what the deal was and I called again cuz that was too long of a wait. A mechanic ended up picking me up to get my car so I got a discount for the inconvenience
I was charged $900 for labor. My dad called for a similar job, and was charged only $500. Obviously there is sexism and a lack of financial integrity at play. I will not trust this company again.

With open doors to the shop and the street, and the plastic shield surrounding the cashiers counter, I had some difficulty understanding the associate's comments. This isn't to complain though. I was satisfied with the courtesy of all employees I made contact with either personally, or by phone.

There is no transparency about the price you practice and the tests you run. We have been told that the garage was using a $6,000 diagnosis toll and the results were hand writing on a piece of paper and no one was able to explain to us what it means. The only thing they wanted was to leave because it was 4:56 pm. They repeat 3 times that we have to introduce our credit card in the machine, meaning please now you have to pay fast, even tapping on the credit card machine to introduce our credit card. Worst experience ever. We will never go back to Midas who stole our money and did not give us any results. The person was not nice with us at all, condescending and impolite.

My front left studs and nut damaged when they tray open the tire,. And i should pay $240, for unprofessional mechanic for that, and my oil filter is leaking, a lot oil splash around the engine, and if you trained new mechanics please under supervised,.the bad thing they blame me for studs is broken and asking me where i change the tire, but they don’t remember my oil change at midasToo,. And i am never touched or rotations my tire at all, only midas do it during my oil change,. Where the midas responsible for that

It says my vehicle was serviced but there was no service performed. I had the part I needed replaced in the front seat, and was told that it was not A replaceable part, and when I said it was, they said they didnt have the part and it needed to be ordered through the dealer.

I had excellent service experience at Midas. They were able to hear an issue with my exhaust manifold, and properly fix the issue with little stress on me. They showed me the defective parts. It was a great reassurance of why I choose to be a continual customer of them year after year.

Like my last review, I am not impressed with Midas at all, specially their diagnostics and also prices.
Poor diagnostics led me twice calling for the jump start. They said the battery is fine while it was faulty. They said that engine oil has some leakage while it was problem of power steering hose clamp to be replaced. Horrible diagnostics cost me more than 80 bucks and lot of time and inconvenience.
Oh my God! they charged $20.0 in labor for replacement of rear light bulb and their electrician even damaged the simple plastic cover cap of one of the screws. Horrible!!
They are courteous but I doubt the professionalism of their team. They told me absolute no leakage while next day I observed few drops of oil. Took it back to them and then it all started.
